Background information

I would like to offer some introductions to specific topics from my portfolio. I hope this helps you better understand the background of services offered by CMM.

I work on and with generic programming since about 1995. As a mathematician, I am fascinated by the idea to transfer the generality and abstractness of mathematical structures into programming and software. I firmly believe that today, the potential of generic programming is still far from being fully exploited. It would be a pleasure for me to help you discover the advantages of this paradigm yourself!

Geometry processing for medical simulation has become one of my major work areas since 2001. Mastering patient-specific geometry is pivotal for personalised bio-mechanical simulation supporting medical decisions. Again, I am convinced that individualised medical simulation has a bright future.
